Arcon Design Services Ltd. is the design and engineering arm of The Christenson Group of Companies.
Owned by Greg Christenson, P. Eng., a graduate in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta, Arcon Design Services Ltd. is managed by Glen Cameron, an architectural designer who specializes in design build style projects.
In the past 33 years his company GC Can Limited, has been involved in the design of a variety of different projects such as manufactured housing, affordable housing, religious facilities, office interior layouts, commercial and retail buildings, plus many more.
Arcon Design Services Ltd. has designed directly over 2,000 apartment and semi-detached homes and work with credible architectural firms on the design and permit co-ordination of over 2,000 additional units. Award winning communities, condos/apartment buildings and bungalow villa communities designed by Arcon include Creekside, Railtown, Governors Hill, Devonshire Village, Citadel Village, Centre in the Park, Emerald Hills, Essex House, Alta Vista South, Park Vista and many more.
Members of The Christenson Group have served on the Building Technical Council for Alberta Municipal Affairs, Condominium Property Act Task Force, New Home Protection Act committees, Built Green, and on many affordable market housing committees through the Canadian Home Builders Association, Chamber of Commerce, Urban Development Institute, and many other credible professional bodies.
The Christenson Group of Companies have won many awards at the Edmonton, Alberta, and Canadian level for its homes and communities since it's formation by Lloyd Christenson in 1962. Many of these award winning projects were designed by Arcon Design Services.
